Snowy Dordogne in February.

We had a chilly start to February, with some beautiful snowy scenes and some parky mornings. Its always a surprise to have snow here in the Dordogne, as it doesn’t normally happen. I remember a couple of years ago gardening in my shorts and a Tshirt in February. But as my neighbours say ‘c’est l’hiver!’.

February has continued the busy start to the year and La Porte has been well occupied with a lot of enquiries and visits from buyers. And we have recently taken on some very nice properties – including a beautiful manoir surrounded by vineyards, a stunning barn conversion with second house, a former hunting lodge, an 18th century farmhouse, a neat little stone house and a 4ha property with barn and ruins to develop.
