Dear Friends,
As is usually the case, the balmy autumn evenings mean that the wood burners are only intermittently back in action – though we can still feel suitably smug that the annual log delivery is in, covered and ready for use when required. Similarly, a local pumpkin fair offers a neat solution to the usually less than satisfying annual search for the essential Halloween accessory – and the danger of once again losing parental points in the event of failure has been averted.
In spite of everything that’s come to pass in recent months – and perhaps surprisingly - the housing market continues to be a vibrant one - though as was the case this time last year, there’s now a noticeable reduction in the number of houses coming to the market. What effect this will have on the market is yet to be seen, though we wouldn’t expect this to translate into firmer prices for the time being.
