Dear Friends,
Summer is now officially here, and with temperatures regularly in the 30°’s, the pace of life is correspondingly slower. Except that is for the local farmers who, whilst working from dawn to dusk, are also trying to squeeze a bumper crop of hay into their barns. Rain is a distant memory, and it looks like we’re in for a few dry months – ideal swimming pool weather for those lucky enough to have the time!
And with the euro continuing to weaken, overseas property buyers are able to find even better value in the French housing market – reflected in the number of houses now selling. And though this means that the overall level of available properties is a little less than in recent years, there’s still a wide choice for interested buyers to view.
