A handful of April showers apart, spring proper is well and truly with us. And unless you’re amongst those who enjoy baking slowly by the pool in high summer, it’s the best time of year too – the leaves are at their freshest green, everything that can be is in bloom and the roads and restaurants are still blissfully tourist free. It’s also an opportunity to remember how lucky we are to be here, and to ensure that we make time to enjoy it all.
