Dear Friends,
So the legions of Pokémon Goers have left (either for school or back to their IT jobs), the weekly market has returned to a rather more manageable size and the village can now breathe a collective sigh of relief as the tourist season winds down. Two months of largely hot and dry weather have left the surrounding fields 50 shades of brown, but with more rain forecast, we’re looking forward to a greener landscape come autumn proper.
And though we’d expected a quieter than usual month, post- brexit stress disorder seems less widespread than anticipated, and the viewing appointments diary is as full as ever. It’s difficult to second guess what the rest of the year will hold for buyers and sellers alike, but for the time being it’s every bit as busy as it was before the referendum.
