Dear Friends,
After four weeks or so of unbroken sunshine, a couple of healthy downpours have provided some relief from the heat; great for the garden, rather less so for those on holiday – especially if they’ve chosen the camping option. Weather regardless, Monpazier is as busy as ever – and though it’s exactly what the village needs (and with the exception of number 2 son), we’re looking forward to the start of the new school term when we’ll once again be able to find somewhere to park!
July and August being traditionally a quieter time of year for property sales, it’s still too early to guess what the long term effects of Brexit will be. That said, whilst it will likely remain a concern for some UK based buyers, there still seems to be a good amount of activity in the market.
