Dear Friends,
At long last, we’ve left the showery weather behind us, and with summer officially started we can look forward to consigning the wettest spring since 1910 to the record books. And with the school holidays looming and number two son finding every possible excuse to skip the last few days of term (not difficult, as the teachers are of a like mind), it’s now time to work out how to fill his next two months with something more productive than Call of Duty. But with friends just a bike ride away, the swimming pool at 27° and the area’s best ice cream shop around the corner from the office, it shouldn’t prove too stressful.
