With all the bank holidays in May, it can be a confusing time – and just when you’ve planned a day of visits, you realise that not only do the kids have yet another day off school, but your vendors have nipped off for an extended weekend break. Luckily, with a bit of judicious tweaking and a few phone calls, everything falls into place - and hopefully no one will notice number 2 son playing angry birds at his desk!
