Dear Friends,
Another month on and the heatwave continues. The lawn has long since given up trying to grow, and we’ve reverted to our high summer routine of looking longingly at distant clouds, wondering if they’ll do the decent thing. All of which is fine if you’re on holiday, your most taxing decision being when to get out of the pool and head off to lunch - less so if you’ve got to work. On the plus side, and according to meteo france’s otherwise advert riddled website, there’s some exciting thunderstorms on their way. Or at least there seemed to be before yet another movie trailer filled the screen – so fingers crossed.
Despite the holiday season being in full swing, the housing market remains busy – driven in part by a weaker euro and perhaps even by a slight tightening of supply.
