Dear Friends,
After a long dry spell, the heavens have at last opened – and given it’s still warm (though not quite swimming pool weather), the garden has sprung back to life; cue dusting the cobwebs off the mower. Half term, Halloween and Toussaints are just around the corner, as is - God forbid – mountains of Leclerc Christmas publicité arriving through the letterbox (most of which is swiftly hidden from the kids and subsequently filed in the village’s recycle bins). The less shiny pamphlets do make good wood burner spills though.
And though we’re into the tail end of the year, the market remains active, with a good number of buyers finding their perfect French home and new properties for us to see too.
